I fell in love with the 14th District from the seat of my bike: its back roads, rolling pastures, charming town squares, quaint diners and restaurants, barns and livestock fields, and mostly, its lovely and loving people. I have pedaled hundreds of miles in my training for endurance athletic events, and most of that was spent in the rural countryside of the 14th District.
From stopping to ask directions, to riding through the town square, to having a bite at a diner, meeting the citizens of Moore, Marshall, Lincoln, Bedford, and Rutherford counties has impressed upon me the value and treasure that is life in Middle Tennessee.
This time, though, as I ride through the District, I do so asking for your support. Your voice should be heard in the state legislature, and I am running for State Senate to carry that message. Give me a friendly wave if you see me out riding, and check out the Events Tab at the website for when I’ll be in your area. Please come speak with me and let me know your concerns, or drop me a comment here or at the website.
It’s time for common sense leadership and rational governing. Enough is enough!
Thank you for your support!
